The County Conference to-day cimcluded its business, it was resolved that the Comities Act should be .-intended, so as to give, the right to Couniies to levy County rates over outlying districts. A vote of thanks to tho Chairman was also passed, especially for his easting'vote re maintenance of hospitals. A report of the proceedings will be printed. The total cost of the Conference is LI per County.
