As will be seen by an advertisement in another column, Cheevers, Kennedy, and Kent's Minstrels will appear at the Masonic Hall on Monday and Tuesday next. The company is an exceptionally strong one, numbering fourteen performers, amongst whom are several old favorites, including Mr. T. Campbell and Mr. Horace Bent, one of the best negro comedians and burlesque actors that has ever appeared in the Colony. Then there is Mr, Martin SimoDsen, a solo violinist, who has few superiors on this side of the line. Messrs. Cheevers and Kennedy come here with reputations of being excellent dancers and character delineators; while the company possesses some good vocalists in Messrs. Vernon Reid, Roper, and Drayton, in addition to a compact orchestra.
