Sixth Division of Profits. The whole of the profits are divided amongst the assured, and bonuses to the .amount of £910,000 have already been allotted. The last division of protits took place in 1574, and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £235,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent, per annum on the sura assured. The bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied from £ls per cent, on the sum assured for a policy of five years standing to £l5O per cent, for one ot twenty-live years duration. Bonuses become vested additions to policies when they have been lull live years in force. The protits realised during the last five years will be ascertained and divided as at ;Ust December next, and ail policies issued ~u or before that date will be entitled to participate in the protits of quinquennium.
