[FROM OTP. OWN CORRRSPOSOENT.J ®. DUNEDIN. July 25. The production of " Maritana" hv Signor Morley's Opera Troupe, consisting wholly of amateurs, was a great success. Miss Hesford made a most favorable impression as the Gitana. The cement claims at Weatlierstone's Gully are looking up. Two more claims were* taken up yesterday, and shares in those oppned up are changing hands at from LSO to L2OO. Brook's lad, who fell from a building last week, died in the hospital yesterday.
