The Moeraki-Palmerston section of the Southern line of railway, damaged by the late rains, will be repaired in time to admit of tratiio being resumed in accordance with the time-table which was observed prior to the damage occurring, and which is now republished in our columns, on Monday next. It is hoped that the Blueskin-Palmerstou section will be ready shortly afterwards, if not on the same day. The Amoy and Shanghai cable has been repaired. The regular monthly meeting of the Lodge Waitaki, Xo. 1111, E."C., will take place tomorrow evening at half-past o'clock. Business—ln the first degree. At the Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday, John Lewis, for allowing two horses to wander at large in Severn-street, was fined 7s. Cd.
