The s.s Waitaki, Captain Edie, arrived in port about 3 p.m yesterday from Dunedm with passengers and cargo. We understand she will return again to-morrow in place of the Samson. , The Bchooner Pelican, Captain Grant, arrived yesterday from Wellington with a cargo of coal, consigned to her owner, H. Aitken. ~ The ketch Defiance sailed for Dnnedin yesterday with a cargo of stone for G. Munro. , The brig Fawn will commence discharging on Tuesday morning, and will load with produce for Lyttelton.
