We would point, out that by adopting this pi ft", the Hospital could not oniy derive a revenue from this source, but the land would also be. materially improved thereby. On the motion of Sir. Headland, seconded by Mr. Dunn, it was resolved. '• That the report be accepted, with the exception of the, recommendation to the Committee to let the grounds, but refer that part of the report to the Visiting Committee to report as to the cost of erecting the necessary fence all round the grounds to protect the growing fence."— Carried.
The accounts, as road, were passed for payment. Dr. Oarland wrote, applying for leave of absence for a week, stating that he had s-cured the services of Dr. Hazard as his substitute. Permission was granted. The Sub-Committee appointed at last 'meeting to report, on the plan and cost of the necessary additions to the Hospital, laid the proposal plan on file table. On the motion of Mr. Headland, seconded by Mr. Fatorson, it was resoicod, ''That plans be prepared and specifications drawn up for the proposed auditions, in accordance with the plan recommended by the Committee appointed for the purpose. ; and that tenders be called for, the same to be sent in on or before the next monthly meeting."
A telegram having been received from -Mr. Alexander Kerr, with reference to the faial each accident, and notifying that suTerers were coming on by a special train, the meeting then broke up with a view to preparations being made for the reception of the injured persons.
