A sectarian riot was feared, and a hundred police were present, while the military were ready to be called out. The passengers by the Chunborazo have been brought saffly to Sydney. Twenty feet of the vessel's keel are gone, but it is believed that the steamer is ready to be brought on to Sydney for repairs.
