Messrs. Fleming and Heclley report as follows At a sale of horses held to-day at the Commercial Yards, draught geldings brought from L 54 to L 65; thoroughbred mare in foal, I/2'i; harness horses and hacks ■were not in demand. The attendance was good. Mr. A. H. Maude reports that he offered a mob of horses, on account of Mr. W. B. Cairns, at the Swan Yards, to-day. The horses were out of condition, and of inferior quality, and had to be passed in, not reaching owner's reserve. A few lots on account of other vendors were sold at fair prices.
