The Union Steamship Company's p.s. Samson, Captain Jones, steamed for Duuedin at 7 o'clock eveuiiu', with 40 tons cargo and a number of passengers. The Oamaru and Duuedin Steamship Company's s.s. Waitaki, Captain Edie, arrived from Duuedin at 1.15 p.m. today, with 63 tons cargo and 70 passener.--. She will leave again at the usual hour to-morrow morning. The ketch Defiance, Captain Burk, arrived here this at'rerno.m.
