"Beacon," writing in the Daily Times, says there is little or 110 betting to report, short odds ruling for all the events. Occasional investments are made in doubles and trebles at 10 to 1 and 30 to 1 respectively, but the prices do not seem tempting. The following is an approximate list of quotations :
