'TOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the District Road Board of Kakanui to levy a GENERAL RATE of NINEPENCE in the £ on the rateable value of all Properties within the District, for the year ending 31st March, 1878, on WEDNESDAY, sth December proximo.
