LATEST WAR NEWS.
Wklltnoton, Nov. 1. The following is a telegram from the Agent-General : Gonrka has taken and fortifi d a strong Turkish position near Plevna. He has captured Achiin, and takes Topar Pasha, together with the Chief of the Staff, many Turkish officers, 3000 soldiers, a whole regiment of cavalry, 4 guns, and other material. The Russian loss was great. Prince Sergius Maximilian was killed in a reconnaissance under the Czarewitch.
The bombardment of Plevna is proceeding.
Affairs at Scbipka Pass are unchanged
A large Russian force has arrived at Koharazan, and compelled Mukhtar Pasha to change his headquarters from Sevien to Copricoi.
