(FROM OUll OWX CORRESPONDENT.) Dunedix, October 20. Tlie following is a special cablegram to the Star: London, October 14. The Penge murderers were reprieved at the last moment. Gnat interest was taken in their case, and numerous petitions were presented in their behalf. The Inverary Castle has ,been partially destroyed by tire. The Hungarian raid on the Jassy Railway proves to be a canard. In the Paris elections, Republicans were returned. Great excitement prevails. Melbourne, October 20. Woodlands and Artful Joe are the favourites for the Melbourne Cup. Serious apprehensions exist of the Chinese at Cooktown. The merchants are returning.
