Some letters having been received with reference to the levels of Test and Tyne streets, and the works in the former street, it was decided to reply that- Test-street, as now being made, was in accordance with the permanent levels adopted by the Council, and that sieps be taken to bring so much of that part of i'yncstreft south of Test-street to the permanent level as would be necessary to give an access to their propert : es. It wa-s resolved that the Engineer should cad for tenders for the woiks in Exe-street suggested ia Mrs. Suart's letter.
