WELLINGTON. September 14. A fisherman brought word here to-day that two fishing smacks left Port Underwood for Wellington, and that while midway in Co'...k Straits there was a strong breeze blowing. The gale freshened somewhat, and when the crew of the foremost boat, which was a niileahiad, looked b.ick, they say the oti-er vessel (the Blue had disappeared. At great risk they put back, but could find no trace of the boat, or the crew of three who were in it. After a vain search, they made the Pilot Station, and walked into town.
