[By Telegraph.] (from our own correspondent.) Wellington, August 31. In the House of Representatives this afternoon, Mr. Shrimski gave notice that, on going into Committee of Supply, hewould move that the action of the Government in summon ; ng Mr. George Jones to the Resident Magistrate's Court at Wellington, instead of to that of the place where the offence was committed, is harsh, arbitrary, and does not meet with the approval of this House. Mr. Murray gave notice that he would ask why Mr. George Jones had been summoned to the Court at Wellington, instead of to that of Otago.
