(in the chair), Steward, Dunlop, Falco,, Henderson, Spence, M'Lellan, Stevens Hedley, Aikenhead, Todd, Jack, ( Chrystal, Duncan, and Church (Se, tary). MINUTES, ETC. The minutes of the last meeting read and confirmed, and the outward respondence was road and approved. INWARD COKRUSPON T niSNCK. A letter was read from Mr. J. Genu:, giving his reasons for withdrawing f, the Committee. —On the motion of ( Todd, it was resolved to acknowledge, receipt of Mr. Geminell's letter. A letter was read from the Taieri A ciation, stating that the names of> juiges from that association would be warded shortly. A letter was also read from the ' kouaiti and Shag Valley Associatio: reference to judges.—lt was resolved, the Secretary should apply for thepenses of the judges sent from here.

JUDGES FOR WAIKOUAITI. The Committee then considered application forjudges from the Qui Association for sheep, shorthorn e; Ayrshire cattle, and draught horses the NVaikouaiti and Shag Valley Ass tion's Show, and gentlemen were pointed to till those positions. MEMBER OK COMMITTEE. Mr. Borrie having declined to act member of the 'JommitLec, Mr. M'lane was appointed. DEFAULTING COMMITTEEMEN. Mr. M'Lennan gave notice that a' next meeting ho would move, "That members of the Committee bo electt till the places of those whose seats : been rendered vacant under rule 7 tlir. non-attendance." GORSE-CUTTING MACHINE. On the letter from the Timaru Ass tion, with reference to the ollerin:,' prize for the best gorse-cutting mac being considered, Mr. Steward i ji' " That the attention of the Secretin the Timaru Association be drawn t fact that the letter from this Associn of date 6th October last, has never replied to, and to state that on contl the proposals therein contained are to, this Association is still willing to tribute its share to the proposed pra a gorse-cutting machine, and in that approves of the draft advertisement mitted in his letter of the 11th An;; provided always that judges are appm from each society to be present at all trials."
The motion was seconded by Mr. and carried. TRIAL OF KURIil' IKKiS.
