Adelaide wheat, 8s to 8s 3d. Sales have taken place at the former price, but holders now ask the latter figure. New Zealand wheat is unsaleable. New Zealand oats, none in stock. Barrett's twist is quoted at Is 4d. A large parcel Black Swan has been sold at Is 6d. Company's sugar has been reduced L2 per ton. Belmont's sperms are unchanged. August 4. The Government were defeated last night, and the House has adjourned for the purpose of allowing Ministers to consider their position.
