Steamer—Waitaki. Brigantine—Endeavour. Topsail Schooners - Pelican, Isabella Pratt. c The Union Steamship Company's ps. Samson, Captain Jones, sailed for Dunedin last evening with passengers and cargo. The fore-and-aft schooner Jransit, Captain Hooper, sailed for the Manakau this morning, but owing to the bght w nds which prevailed, she did not make much of an offing during the day. She took away 1080 bass wheat on account of the JNew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency CoinPa The ketch Defiance, Captain Burk, sailed for Dunedin at noon to-day with a lull cargo of Oamaru stone. The Oamaru and Dunedm Steamship Company's s.s. Waitaki. Captain Edie, arrived alongside the Breakwater at 1 p.m. to-day. She brings 15 tons cargo and seven passengers.
