Schooner—Transit. Ketch —Defiance. ♦ The Union Steamship Company's ps. Samsan, Captain Jones, arrived from Dunedin at 6 o'clock this morning with 20 tons cargo and 25 passengers. She leaves again tor Dunedin at her usual hour this morning. The fore-and-aft schooner Isabella Pratt, Captain W. Cross, arrived from Napier this morning in ballast. . The brigantine Roderick Dhu, Captain Matthews, sailed for Napier yesterday afternoon. , The s.s. Waitaki is due here at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
