On and after June 1, Mails will Close— For Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily, at 6 a.m. An extra, mail will be despatched to Maheno daily, at 1.30 p.m. For Pukeuri and Waitaki, daily, at 0 a.m. F»r Waimate. Tiniaru. Christchurch, and North Island, daily, at :> a.m. and 2.45 p.m. ForPapakaio and Duntroou, daily, at 2.45 p.m. For Awamoko, on Tuesday and Thursday at 2.45 p.m. For Maerewhenua, Upper Ferry, and Oamarama, on Tuesday, at 2.45 p.m. For Weston and Teancraki, daily, at 2.30 p.m. For Dunedin and South, per p.s. Samson, on .Monday and Thursday, at 5 p.m. ; and per s.s. Waitaki, on Wednesday and Saturday, at 10 a.m. British and other mails, via San Francisco, will close at this office on Tuesday. 21th inst., at 0 a.m. A supplementary British mail, via < hristclmreh and San Francis* o, will close at this office at 0 a.m. on Thursday, 20th inst.
