. AUCTIONEERS' REPORT.
Messrs. Connell and Clowes held a sale today, at their rooms, Tyne-street, of freehold and leasehold properties, and tools. The first property submitted was Mr. John Greenfield's, sections 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, block XXXV., Oamaru town, together with fourroomed cottage thereon. The bidding was food, and Mr. Filleul was the purchaser, at ,720. The next property offered was on account of the trustees in Doak's estate — leasehold of eight acres, part of section 8, block V., Oamaru district, with improvements, and was bought by Mr. John Turnbull for L 220. The interest in lease of Cave Valley quarry was bought by Mr. J. Wilson for L4O ; do. do., Cave Valley, Mr. H. Wallace, L4l ; do. do., Corporation quarry, Totara, Mr. J. Wilson, L 9. Cranes —one fourton fetched LB2, and three two-ton, L 44, L 47, and Lls respectively. The tools were sold at fair value. The three sections at Weston were withdrawn at LGO.
