MEETING RE LATE TRAIN AT OTEPOPO.
A very large and influential meeting was held in the School-room, Otupopo, last evening, Mr. T. Henderson being voted to the chair. The Chairman explained the object of the meeting, viz., the desirability of getting a late train put on on Saturdays from Oamaru to Moeraki. All present agreed that the change was inevitable, otherwise the old equine mode of locomotion would have to be resorted A Committee consisting of Messrs. T. Henderson, Adam Aiuk-rson, T. Anderson, Angus Ross, and Dr. Smith was appointed to act in conjunction with the Committees at Maheno and Hampden.
