AUCTIONEERS' REPORT. Messrs. Connell and Clowes report that they held a sale on Thursday, at Otepopo, on account of Mr. P. O'Brien, of Dairy and Store Cattle, .Implements, &&. There was a large attendance, and good prices were obThey quote cows and heifers, back calvers, L 6 to L 9; do. do., close to calving, LlO to Ll3 10s ; steers and heifers, eighteen months-old, L 4 10s ; one second-hand draj, Ll7 ss. Other implements, pigs, and other lots at fair rates ; ducks, 5s 6d per pair. TIMARU. This morning's Timciru Herald reports as follows :—Wheat remains at about the same prices as last week—prime samples being quoted up to 6s 3d. .Deliveries have almost ceased, and all the stores in town are overflowing. Oats have hardened considerably, and are now quoted at 3s ; potatoes rule at L2.
