NASEBY.
RAILWAY TO THE INTERIOR. June 21. At the County Council meeting held yesterday evening, a strong resolution was proposed in favor of entire co-operation with Oamaru. An amendment was proposed by the Chairman,, and carried by his own casting vote, to give L 75 ; but also to order a flying survey by the County Engineer, from Sutton Stream to Naaeby. It was urged that the County Council would not have the data upon which to decide before all the reports were made known.
