CONCLUSION OF THE LIBEL CASE.
Timaru, June 13.
The hearing of the libel cases—Reed v. Sherrin and Reed v. Cuming—have been concluded. In both cases the jury found a verdict of guilty.—Sherr ; n was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, and Cuming was fined LIOO.
