FATAL ACCIDENT.
Greymouth, May 30,
James M'Dougall, a ganger employed on the protective works, while crossing the contractors' bridge at the mouth of the Lagoon, which is unplanked, fell between the sleepers, and was drowned. The body has not been recovered.
