HARBOUR BOARD MUDDLE.
May 29.
The Harbour Board last night resolved, "That only one dock be made, the centre bein:-; in a line with Stuart-street, and that the rocky walling be carried on as per Proudfoot's contract, in order that in years to come, should a second dock be required, the same might be constructed at a comparatively small cost." Mr. Reynolds considered the resolution ridiculous, and intimated his intention of opposing it by every means in his power.
