ENGLISH MAIL DATES.

The English mails will arrive at and be despatched from Dunedin as under:— Via Suez. Via Sax Francisco. arr. dep. arr. dep. Mails Close— For Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily, at 6 a.m. For Pukeuri and Waitaki, daily, at 9 a.m. For Waimate, Timaru, Christchurch, and North Island, daily, at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. For Papakaio and Duntroon, daily, at 4 p.m. For Awamoko, on Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p.m. For Maerewhenua, Upper Ferry, and Oamarama, on Tuesday. :it 4 p.m. For Weston and Teaneraki, daily, at 2.30 p.m. For Dunedin and South, per p.s. Samson, on .Monday and Thursday, at 5 p.m. ; and per s.s. Waitaki, on Wednesday and Saturday, at 10 a.m. British and other mails via. San Francisco, will close at this office on Thursday, 31st instant, at 6 a.m. Letters may be registered during the ordinary office hours, and for despatch by any mail, one hour before the closing of such mail.
