RACING.
The Canterbury Jockey Club, at a meeting to-day, drew up a programme for the Spring Meeting. All the events are the same as last year, excepting that of the Steeplechase substituted for the Tradesmen's Handicap, thus making two Steeplechases during the meeting. The stakes for the Cup and Canterbury Jockey Club Handicap are increased to 500 so vs. each.
