SCHOOL CONFERENCE.
At a conference of the City and Sub_ urban School Committees last night it was resolved, " That it is desirable to establish secondary schools in suitable centres, as thereby the education of the more advanced classes in the elementary schools would be more efficiently conducted, and more economically carried on." Also, " That pupils paas an examination in the sixth standard before being admitted to such schools.
