" KJNEDIN COMMERCIAL. The amount of revenue collected at the Custom-house, Dunedin, on Saturday, was £579 18a. 3d. DUNEDIN" MARKETS. Yesterday's Guardian reports as follows : —Butter is in gocd supply at lOid and lid, and cheese is readily obtainable at 6Ad and 7d. The demand for tencing-wire has not been quite so brisk during the week. We quote No. 6, LI(>; No. 7, LI 7; and No. S, LIS 5s per ton. Advices from Calcutta of an advance in jute have caused a better inquiry for cornsaeks ; full weights are held for 10s. Flour remains at LIG, and oatmeal at Lls, with an upward tendency. Wheat has been in good demand during the -week but prime samples are somewhat scarce. We quote prime milling us 9d up to (>s 3d for very choice samples ; medium, 5s to 5s 6d; inferior, 3s 9d to 4s 6d. Oats are in very moderate supply at, for prime milling, 2s 6*d to 2s Sd ; feed, 2s 3d to 2s sd, according to sample. Barley is slow of sale, and supplies are principally of inferior qualities, which are difficult to place. Fine samples would readily command 4s 9d to ss.
