COMMERCIAL INTELLIGENCE.
Mail Office, Saturday afternoon. MARKET REPORT. Wheat has been largely dealt in since our last report, and several large lines have changed hands at an advance on last quotations. Prime samples are now selling freely at up to ss. 6d., and higher pri.es have been obtained for seed parcels. Oats have also advanced, and are now selling freely at up to 2s. Gd., with a hardening market. Barley is unsaleable. Flour remains about last quotations, and millers decline taking orders, having more on hand than can be completed for the next three months. Prices are nominally Lls 10s. to Ll6 10s. for different sized packages. Pollard and Bran have advanced, and are now quoted at L(j and L 4 respectively. Oatmeal has advanced, and is now quoted at Ll4. Potatoes have advanced slightly, and are now saleable at L2 10s. to L2 15s. DUNEDIN COMMERCIAL. The amount of revenue collected at the Custom-house, Dunedin, on Thursday, was £826 19s. sd.
