THE OCEAN MAIL.
A telegram from Russell states that the ship Ocean Mail, bound from Wellington to London, struck on a rock at the Chathams, called French Hock, on the north-west side of the Island. The passengers and crew, numbering GO in all, were saved. They are still at Chatham Islands. Four days after the wreck one bale of wool was washed ashore.
