The following are the principal insurances on the OcearPMail :—South British, L 7,000 ; New Zealand, L 20,000 (LIO,OOO re-insured) ; National, LIG,OOO (L 12,000 re-insured) ; Bafcavia, LB,OOO ; Victoria, L 1,075. There are other insurances in foreign companies. Particulars are not obtainable. The vessel was wrecked three days after leaving Wellington.
