The barquentine Lochiel, sugar laden, from Mauritius, which went ashore at the Heads on Saturday, was got off by the Kaputai and Samson. She received nc damage beyond losing part of her bulwarks. ANOTHER RAILWAY ACCIDENT. Shortly after three o'clock on Saturday afternoon, a ballast train ran off the line near Mosgiel, and resulted in consequences of a very serious nature, no less than six men receiving injuries. The following are the names, together with a description of their injuries :—C. Falconer, one of the small hones of ankle broken ; F. Dodd, dislocation of right shoulder ; John Oscraft, compound fracture of the right leg and dislocation of the left hip ; William Jones, fracture of the lef b leg ; John Fleming, compound fracture of the right leg ; David Henderson, compound fracture of the left leg. The last named hail to have his leg amputated immediacy after being admitted into the Hosfiiru!. Alexander Stewart was crushed to dw.tli.
