Dunedin, May 10. WASTE LANDS BOARD. On reconsideration, the Waste Lands Board lias decided to cut Run 51 into two iustead of three blocks. Two members will personally inspect the runs. No. 43 will be next dealt with, while the Maerowhenua Run will be the first inspected. THE DOCK SITES. Mr. Simpson reports against the proposed alteration of dock sites, the cost of which will be L 27,000. FIRE. Schultze's brewery at the Yalley lias been partially- destroyed-by fire, but the loss is covered by an insurance policy in the National Company. GALE AT PORT CHALMERS. A violent gale has been experienced at Port Chalmers, daring which the ships Wild Deer and Gloucester collided, both sustaining considerable injury. The Phoebe and other vessels parted their head moorings. MEETING OF PARLIAMENT. Wellington, May 10. | ' Parliament meets on the 20th July. l
