[from our own correspondent.] ♦ WAR BETWEEN RUSSIA AND TURKEY. ARMIES PREPARING FOR THE CONFLICT. London, April 26. Turkey's answer to the Czar's manifesto is that the attack of Russia is unprovoked, and appeals to the Treaty of 1856 and the mediation of the European Powers. Russia is pouring her troops into Roumania, and many have already arrived at Galatz. The Cossacks are marching on to Kalofat.
The Turks who occupied Roumania have withdrawn to the interior. Prince Nitka, of Montenegro, is marching towards the frontier. The Turks are advancing upon Nicksch. Seventeen thousand Russian's have crossed the Turkish frontier and a large force is on its way towards the Danube; There is an universal desire that England should remain neutral. The Paris papers do not consider Moltke's speech hostile to France.
