The Evening Star states that Mr. Willi the late Under-Secretary of Otago, won! have stood for the seat in the House o Representatives for Auckland West i£ l had received support, but no succeeding in so doing he has abandone the idea: He will, however, take tli earliest favourable opportunity of enteriu Parliament. GOVERNOR'S LEVEE. The Governor's levee to-day was vei] poorly attended. ACCIDENT. Mr. Keast, the brewer, was severelj injured by a fall from his horse at th Blue Spur.
