" i'hc Licensed Theatres Ordinance, ISG2," and "Amendment Ordinance, 1570," liave been brought into force within the Municipality of Oamaru, and that any person or persons acting, representing, or performing, or causing to be acted, repieseated, or performed, for hire, gam, or reward, any stage, play, or other entertainment of the stage, to which admission shall, or may be procured by payment of money or bv tickets, or for any other consideration, and any person or persons taking or receiving auv rent, fee, or reward for the use or hire of any place where any such entertainment, Sic., is acted or exhibited, without the written authority or license of the Collector of the Municipal Corporation of Oamaru, are liable to a penalty not exceeding Fifty Pounds (£SO) for every offence. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that Applications for Licenses must be made to the Collector of the said Corporation, at the Council Chambers, Oamaru, within office hours, viz., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on every day except Saturdays; on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 12noon ; and that the Fee payable in respect of such Licenses are as tullows : Yearly License ... ... £3O 03.
