Wellington. H The police here are dissatisfied with the Inspectors' conference, and as soon as the report of the proceedings is published H they intend meeting to see whether they will retain their situations under the con- H ditions proposed by the Inspectors. There H are many old and experienced officers in the force, and they naturally think they H are better able to judge what is best for themselves than Inspectors who get all pay and do no work.
