The matter between Messrs. Watt and the natives in reference to their run was settled on Saturday, before Mr. Beetham R.M., a Native Land Fraud Commissioner, and a sum of L1T,400 cash paid Mr. Sheehan, as solicitor for the natives, including reserves and other concessions made by Messrs. Watt. The total value paid to the natives may be put down from L 28,000 to L 30,000.
