THE AUCKLAND MURDERER.
Auckland.
On the arrival of the train from Waikato on the 22nd, a great crowd collected to see the murderer of Morgan, but the police had removed him at a previous station. An old man was mistaken for the murderer. The crowd surrounded him, and he was in some danger until the mistake was discovered. All the Maori peach sellers became alarmed, and cleared out.
