NORTH OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.

The thirteenth exlnbition of the North Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held to day, on the grounds of fie Society, but, owing to the disagreeable state of the weather, the attendance of visitors was rather limited. . The display of plants was extremely good, and many rare specimens were exhibited, amongst them being some variegated thyme and flowered gooseberry. In Clas3 R, be.n r buggy and harness, the principal exhibitors were, for vehicles, Messrs. Groves Brothel's, of Dunedih, and Kite, of Oamarii; while the harness, saddles, &c, were represented by Messrs. Morris and Russell. The Ayrshire Cattle elicited general admiration, and the judges had some difficulty in making their selection, but ultimately the first and second prizss, were awarded to Messrs. It is firm, sonnd in staple, and brigut in color. This sample is ixceptionally good. The second exhibit was of first clothing merino, bright, sound in staple ;an extremely useful wool. Both exhibits were well worthy the prizes awarded, and would take a lot of beating.
