This elegant preparation is prescribed by many eminent physicians in cases where a mild laxative is needed. ' Its use is unattended with nausea, and may be administered alone, with water or a little tea. Dose.—Adults, a tablespoonful; Children, from four to six years of age, a dessertspoonful ; and more or less according to age. Prepared by H. H. COGGINS, ITCHEN-STREET. CONCENTRATED ESSENCE OF JAMAICA GINGER, Prepared from the Finest Jamaica Ginger, and possessing all the aromatic qualities of that drug; it is uniformly held in the highest estimation, both by the profession and the public. Dose.—A few drops in water, repeated at pleasure. Prepared by H. H- COGGINS, ITCHEN-STREET, TINCTURE OF ARNICA, Foe Bruises, Sprains, Pains in the Back and Side, Mosquito Bites, &c. DIRECTIONS: For Bruises and Sprains. Mix a tablespeonful of the extract with half a tumbler of cold water, and keep a cloth constantly wet with the lotion thus made applied to the part affected for several hours.
