Nominations for the Oamaru Steeplechase to lie sent in sealed covers, containing name, age, and color of the horse, and colors of the rider ; and addressed to the Secretary, at the Empire Hotel, Oamaru, not later than eight o'clock p.m. on Saturday, the 23rdinst. Weights to lie published on Friday, 29th inst. Acceptances and sweeps on the night of general entry at the above Hotel, before eight o'clock, and no monies will be received after thi» hour under any pretence whatever. 4. Night of General Entry—Monday, Dth October, at the Empire Hotel, before eight o'clock p.m. 5.
