TINCTURE OF ARNICA, For Bruises, Sprains, Pains in the Back and Side, Mosquito Bites, 4c. DIRECTIONS: For Bruises and Sprains. ' Mix a tablespoonful of the extract half a tumbler of cold water, and keep a clotl constantly wet with the lotion thus made applied to the part affected for several hours. Pains in the Side, Back, &c. The same lotion can be applied ; but the better way is to'use the extract as a Liniment, rubbing it thoroughly with the hand or a piece of coarse flannel.
