Mix a table-spoonful of the extract witli half a tumbler of cold water, and keep a cloth constantly wet with the lotion thus made applied to the part affected for several hours. .Pains-in the Side, Back, &<.*." The same lotion can be applied ; but the better way is to use the extract as a Liniment, rubbing it thoroughly with the hand or a piece of coarse flannel. For Mosquito Bites, &c.
