Barrows and Parfo state—" We have to report a slightly Lotto feeling in the demand for the finest qualitie of wheat during the last few days, hut then is no improvement whatever in saie of Hour: our market continuing to be overstocks with all grades of this article. Some considerable sales of fine qualities of Adelaide wheat have made during the month al 525., and of weevilly lots at s:js., both per 4961b., ex store, showing considerable losses to importers generally. The present value is 535. per 4%'i0., ex store, for selected qualities. Fine samples of New Zealand and T.ismanian are very .scarce, and would consequently bring from 525. to 535., and lower sorts 4Sd. to s!s. per 4S(iib., ex store. Flour is still much neglected, and tho supply generally in excess of demand. Superfine Adelaide sells., slowly at from 3(js. (id. to Sis.; line sorts, 2!s. to IH-;. ; and households, 21b. to 303. ; all per 2S'.To. net ex storo. There are. now 211 wheat cargoes with about 1,050,000 Oiiarteiv. cm passage to the United Kingdom, against ,">ii, with J,(>32,000 quar-. tars, hi the corrc-spwiiding week of 1575, and. 338, with 1,503,000 quarters in 1574-."
